- Zonk: @shuttler IE: BioWare could have technically made Ferelden open, but to make the game fit with the model they wanted, they didn't.
- Zonk: @shuttler :D I think we're talking past each other. Oblivion's open world is a design decision, just as DAO's 'map' format is.
- Zonk: @shuttler I guess I don't see it as a technical limitation? It seems like a design decision to me. One I like! :D
- Zonk: @shuttler With a sci-fi setting it's much easier to do that, though. Ships/stations/etc. Open ground visuals much more fit fantasy.
